Black flow is often associated with darkness, creating an atmosphere that discourages people from immersing themselves or taking a bath. However, not all bodies of water are meant for bathing. Scandinavia boasts numerous lakes and rivers, characterised by their piercing coldness, which sets them apart from the Mediterranean rivieras as a tourist destination. Consequently, these Scandinavian waters have maintained their distinctiveness and independence, much like the entire region itself. They exist on the periphery of the European continent, proudly showcasing their cold beauty.
During a Scandinavian summer, these waters come alive under the radiant sunshine, glistening in shades of blue, navy blue, and green, just like any other body of water. Moreover, they offer mesmerising underwater views, as their transparency allows for a captivating glimpse into their depths. Yet, in the dim light, the water transforms into a deep black hue as it crashes against the stones. A halo of white water droplets forms around these stones, reflecting the moonlight and creating an ethereal glow. The stones themselves become illuminated amidst the darkness of the flowing water.
The enchantment of Scandinavian nature is truly captivating. It evokes a black and white drawing, where any color charts is unnecessary to capture its essence. Only the stark contrast of black and white can truly depict the flow of water among the luminous stones.
