Rocky beach scene – does it sound inviting? Probably not. The word “beach” typically conjures up images of a wide expanse of dry, sun-soaked sand where one can lay out a blanket, recline, and bask in the warmth of the sun. It’s no wonder that this idyllic image is the epitome of our idea of a vacation and is prominently featured in travel agency advertisements.
But what about a rocky beach? Can we even consider such a shoreline a beach? If it is synonymous with something pleasant and beautiful, then a rocky shore also has its own unique allure. Granted, it may be challenging to spread out a blanket on the jagged stones, but must we always rest in a supine position?
Instead, we can take a leisurely stroll along the rocky shore, marvelling at the intricate shapes carved by centuries of elemental forces – water, wind, heat, and cold. It is through this ceaseless collaboration of nature’s powers that these rock formations have emerged, transforming the shore into an open-air exhibition of sculptural wonders. And when this exhibition is set against the backdrop of Scandinavia, nestled by the tranquil waters of one of its many lakes, the scene exudes a sense of primordial simplicity and grandeur. Where is this rocky beach? Some people can ask: where can you find this white rocky beach? As we associate beach with light colors and sunshine.
Under the ethereal glow of the northern lights, the rocky, grey shoreline comes alive, emanating an energy that seems to emanate from the very stones themselves. They begin to radiate, casting an enchanting spell upon all who behold them. Truly, the rocky beach is a place of enchantment and wonder. I found worth to make a rocky shoreline drawing to make it as a memory for me and for you.
