A wedding portrait captures one of life’s most significant moments, commemorating the beauty and transition from being a maiden or bachelor to becoming a wife or husband. It is a visual representation framed in an ornate frame, which adds to the overall artistic value. This sacred union is emphasized in the Bible, Matthew 19:5-6, where it states that a man shall leave his parents and cleave to his wife, becoming one flesh. This profound event has always captivated artists throughout history, resulting in numerous depictions of weddings in art. Typically, these paintings feature wealthy and influential individuals. However, in my graphic painting, I have chosen to include people who hold a special place in my heart. Their presence is the driving force behind the creation of this print. The portraits of the woman and man are surrounded by a decorative frame, symbolizing the abundance of experiences that await them on their new journey in life.
