A flower is always associated with beauty. And beauty is, after all, desirable. When we see a beautiful thing we feel better. Not only that, beauty can make us happy. This is why we give ourselves flowers on many occasions and at important events in our lives. The presence of flowers at birthdays, name days, and weddings emphasizes the joyful atmosphere. Flowers are also present at sad ceremonies – at funerals. Then they enhance the solemn nature of these events. Flowers only bloom for a short time. Their beauty passes quickly. We have little time to enjoy their beauty. I observe flowers in their full bloom. I admire their diverse structure. Nature is very inventive. But what intrigues me most is the process of flowering. When a flower wilts and its beauty is just a memory. It is such a visualization of the passing of time. We can escape time, neither the flowers nor we humans. Yet we give each other flowers. At special moments in life, such as weddings, weddings, children’s birthdays, name days or birthdays. To name a few. Flowers emphasize the festive nature of these moments. May these beautiful moments last longer than the flowers bloom. There is something paradoxical that we adorn these moments with the presence of these beautiful but so short-lived creatures of nature.
