Sleeping Beauty glow – does it exist? Do you ever wake up in the morning longing for that ‘Sleeping Beauty’ glow? The kind of radiant and refreshed look that seems like it only exists in fairy tales? Well, the good news is, you don’t need a magic spell or a prince’s kiss to achieve it.
All you need is a restful night’s sleep, undisturbed by any interruptions. It is during these deep slumbers that dreams can truly flourish, transforming into captivating stories. Within the realm of dreams, you venture into enchanted lands, encountering both familiar faces and strangers in peculiar scenarios. In this ethereal state, the laws of physics and nature hold no sway; gravity dissipates, and you effortlessly ascend, observing the world from a higher vantage point. Your perception expands, granting you a profound sense of freedom and boundless potential. How marvellous it is to experience such profound dreams!
During these immersive dreams, your body and mind find solace, allowing for complete relaxation. Your facial muscles ease, and a gentle smile graces your slumbering face. You become a sleeping beauty, enveloped in tranquility. Can such a wondrous experience be captured in a drawing? I have taken it upon myself to do so. As an artist, I express my thoughts and emotions through the medium of image. I wish to say to this woman: “Good morning sleeping beauty”, refreshed beauty in the morning hours. The woman face, sleeping beauty facial show that she feels comfortable in her dream.
In this instance, I have chosen to create a sleeping beauty drawing using pen and ink. Behold, the drawing depicts a woman divided in half, seemingly folded to fit within the confines of the artwork. However, this division serves a purpose beyond mere representation. I aim to convey the swirling patterns of sleep that traverse her entire being, transforming her into the epitome of a sleeping beauty. And in the end, I am wondering how does sleeping beauty wake up. Perhaps she wants to stay in her dream in her sleeping beauty landscape?
