This is a picture of amazement. Man has reason to be amazed. The world and life are a mystery. There are so many unanswered questions. The head detached from the woman’s body is placed in front of the viewer. She is looking intensely and directly at us. I think she wants to tell us something. I want to show through this picture that many things are hidden from us. We will not find out and understand everything. And so we live, very realistically, in our bodies.
